A heavy duty mechanic for heavy duty printers.
As printers, we see our art upside-down. We are not looking at the words or the picture, we are looking at the ink and how it covers the shirt to create the illusion of an image. To turn a regular human being into a walking, breathing, happy billboard. It takes a hundred steps before the first drop of ink is coerced through the mesh by the pass of the squeegee. It takes a lot of precision equipment to prepare for that moment and create our masterpieces stacked in warm dozens at the end of the dryer. Screenprinting is an extremely difficult craft. All the natural elements constantly changing and drastically affecting everything we do,… all the times we said “it was printing great before lunch”. Screenprinting is a culture and there is plenty of work for all of us. The more we work together, the better it gets for us all. I’ve been around screenprinting for almost 30 years now, I look forward to talking about it and working with you.
